Daniel graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2000 followed by articles and employment at another Victoria law firm before joining Stevenson Luchies & Legh in 2010.
Daniel’s career prior to law was in commercial real estate sales and leasing. This turned out to be a good background to have in understanding clients’ needs in legal matters and in solving complex problems. His law experience is primarily in general civil litigation including employment, administrative, construction, real property and estate disputes. He has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia as well as before numerous tribunals and arbitration panels. In 2010 Daniel was appointed by the British Columbia Real Estate Association as an instructor for Continuing Professional Education courses in real estate law.
Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys family outings and vacations. He volunteers as a soccer coach and as Director of Risk Management with Bays United. He is also a year-round bicycle commuter and runs marathons (P.B. 3:35 2009 Las Vegas).
