Juhi maintains a general legal practice with a focus on family law, dispute resolution, civil litigation, real estate, wills & estates, and personal injury law. She chose to become a lawyer because she is excellent at solving problems and is a strong advocate for others.
She is passionate about access to justice issues and likes to remain involved in the Victoria community. Juhi is a Director of the Victoria Bar Association, the current Vice-Chair of the Solicitors’ Practice Issues Committee of the Canadian Bar Association of BC, a pro bono services provider with Access Pro Bono Society of BC at the Justice Access Centre since December of 2014, and a legal aid lawyer with the Legal Services Society of BC since March of 2014.
Juhi comes to SLL from a diverse educational and cultural background. Before completing her JD at the University of Victoria, Juhi attended the University of British Columbia for a BSc where she studied, alongside a slew of Calculus and Science courses, ancient literature and mythology of South East Asia. Juhi also has a Certificate in Computer Information Systems from University of the Fraser Valley. She has lived in numerous places including Nairobi, Brampton, Winnipeg and Vancouver. She is now happy to call Victoria her home.
