Ashley Butterworth

Ashley joined Stevenson Luchies & Legh as an articled student in September 2022. Born and raised in Victoria, she attended Camosun College where she obtained two Associate Degrees in Criminology & Psychology. She continued her post-secondary education at Royal Roads University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies in 2014. She began work as a legal assistant in Victoria shortly after graduation, before relocating to the United Kingdom.

She received her law degree from City, the University of London in 2017. After graduation, she returned to Victoria and began work in the financial sector, while completing her National Committee on Accreditation exams. In early 2022, she began her articles in the legal and tax department at an in-house investment management firm. She is expected to be called to the bar in Spring 2023.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, time with family and friends, and attending Pilates and strength, training classes.
