Martin Screech
Martin is a trial lawyer who practices in the area of family, criminal and personal injury law. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Martin was born in the United Kingdom and grew up in Victoria. He obtained an honours degree in history from the University of Victoria before heading to the University of Toronto to pursue post-graduate studies in history. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Toronto he entered law school in Victoria and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1993.
With a reputation as a firm but thoughtful advocate for his clients, Martin has many years experience in complex family disputes, serious criminal matters, and representing defendants in motor vehicle accidents.
In his spare time, he is a bit of a travel and music nut, and can be found roaming around the world in search of the best in amplified sound.
